ELIGIBILITY

The candidates who have passed SSLC/THSLC or equivalent examination with Eligibility for Higher studies and subject to the following conditions are eligible to apply

• The candidate should be a citizen of India.
• The candidates taken more than two chances to secure eligibility for higher studies in SSLC/ THSLC or equivalent examinations are not eligible for admission.
• Appearance for "Betterment" and 'SAY' Examinations will not be considered as a separate chance.

MINIMUM MARKS FOR ELIGIBILITY

Not Less than B+ Grade for all subjects.

In the case of CBSE candidates, only the certificates of Board examination shall be accepted as qualifying certificate and such candidates shall submit an undertaking at the time of admission and a copy of the same shall be submitted along with the application.

SELECTION OF CANDIDATES

Selection of the candidate is based on the grading in SSLC/THSLC or equivalent examination.

• 25% seats are reserved for Orphans who have scored 70% and above marks in the qualifying examination
• Preference in selection will be given for candidate belonging to Physically handicapped (Such candidates should produce eligibility certificate).
• The selection for admission will be provisional subject to verification of the originals of documents and eligibility by the Principal of the Institution.
• The selected candidates should report to the Principal of the Institution with all the original certificates, fees etc. on the date specified for interview.

APPLICATION FORMS

Application forms and prospectus for the seats to be filled by the Management can be had from the Principal, JDT Islam Polytechnic College, Jamiath Hill, Calicut - 673012 on request at a cost of Rs, 500/- per copy.

For Orphans, the Application forms will be given free of cost if they produce Identifications and recommendation letter from the Sponsoring Orphanage.

Those who desire to get admission under Merit should also submit the Application in the Govt. [ polyadmission.org ]

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION

Application forms duly filled up should reach the Principal, JDT Islam Polytechnic College, Jamiath Hill, Calicut - 12 on or before the date fixed for the same. Applications received in the Polytechnic, either direct or by post after the specified last date will not be considered for admission under any circumstances. Cover containing the application form should be superscripted "Application for admission to JDT Islam Polytechnic".

The certificates in original should be submitted to the Principal of the Polytechnic at the time of admission. If on verification of the certificates any information is found to be false, the selection of candidate will be cancelled.

The following certificates/copies have to be attached along with the Application form.

• True Copy of the SSLC or qualifying Examination.
• Orphan students should be sponsored by an Orphanage recognized by the Department of Social Welfare (produce certificate from Orphanage).

The candidates should produce their Transfer Certificate to the Principal of the Polytechnic at the time of admission.

Applications, which do not contain any of the documents mentioned above or which are found defective or which are received after the last date will not be considered.
